A Comprehensive Understanding of your Ayurveda Body Constitution (Understanding Ayurveda Book 1)
- Linda Bretherton

I have done a lot of things in my life and here I am at 65 years old (2016) and I can truthfully say that of all the things I have 'done' Ayurveda is simply the 'thing' that has changed my life, how I think, eat and practice.
I began this journey into Ayurveda over 20 years ago and now love to live it and teach it. I cannot say that overnight I changed things but I learned that without a deeper commitment to yourself, your life will never change
The biggest discovery was the understanding of who I am, which comes from the most ancient of all philosophy from the ancient text Upanishads , considered the oldest texts in the world, which informs us that 'all this is, is Brahman' and Brahman means the 'Absolute Reality' - The only reality.
This reality consists of Sat, Chit, Ananda - Existence , Consciousness, Bliss
Sat - Existence , existing beyond time and place
Chit - Consciousness, conscious of all awareness without object
Ananda - Bliss, bliss caused by nothing, it is just is that.
And this is the Self within all of us, never changing always Divine Bliss
When I began to understand and practice this philosophy and learn the sadhana of daily living through Wise Earth Ayurveda practices, my life began to change. Each day regardless of the experience gives me an opportunity to connect with the Self that is all of us.
